Little Seeds School for Young Children’s mission is to serve pre-school children (ages 3-5) and their families by providing a Christ-centered, stable environment to learn and play safely. We serve those preschoolers who by their personal circumstances, their families’ financial situation, familial environment or other situational conditions are more likely to struggle in school, less likely to graduate high school and more likely to engage in criminal behaviors or to engage in other risky behavior later in life. By giving pre-schoolers an early edge with better academic skills, social skills and Christian grounding they become better prepared to succeed in school and in society, and to avoid the hopelessness that leads to destructive behavior, the first step to breaking the cycle of poverty and violence. In addition, we strive to empower parents and guardians to stimulate and safeguard early childhood development.
We have dedicated Christian teachers on staff who really care about the future of children. They provide children with basic pre-school education, a safe place to play, a listening ear and a mentor to count on.
The joy expressed by these precious children while they are at the school belies the challenging conditions they may face. Our graduates are better prepared for school than many of their peers, which leads to a path of success through school rather than one of discouragement, frustration and disillusionment.
